This 1974 Ford F-250 Custom is a red-finished pickup powered by a 400ci V8 that was installed circa 2010. A Mallory distributor, an Edelbrock carburetor, and a dual exhaust system have also been installed, and the drivetrain is completed by a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a rear differential with 4. 10:1 gearing. Riding on white-finished 16â³ steel wheels, the truck is further equipped with manually locking front hubs, side steps, a sliding rear window, and a receiver hitch as well as a RetroSound stereo, a cabin heater, and a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. Factory-finished in Candyapple Red, the truck was repainted circa 2000 and features black bodyside pinstripes along with a chrome-finished grille, front bumper, and wheel arch moldings. Additional exterior details include side steps, low-mount side mirrors, a spray-on cargo bed liner, a sliding rear window, a receiver hitch, and a silver-finished diamond-plate rear bumper. The selling dealer notes that touch-up paintwork has been performed, and photos provided in the gallery show dents on the roof and on the rear corners of the truck. Rust-through can be seen on a lower area of the driverâs door. White-painted 16â³ steel wheels with chrome hubcaps were mounted with 255/85 Falken Wildpeak M/T tires in preparation for the sale. Additional work included overhauling the rear drum brakes and replacing the front wheel bearings along with the left-rear wheel seal and the shocks at each corner.
